hi, i'm lori!
Welcome to Lori Gray Photography.
My mission is to capture special moments and milestones for seniors and families in the Somervell County area. I create a client experience that reflects the love and excitement I have for both beautiful images and the people in them.
As a mom of two wonderful kids, I purchased my first "real" camera to take better pictures of them. I was so frustrated trying to get great action shots of my own kids with my phone.
Fast-forward a few years and here we are, my love affair with my camera and portrait photography has only grown since I picked up that first camera.
a little bit of my story...
I have lived in Glen Rose, Texas since 2015, and absolutely l love it! I had no idea I was really a small-town kinda girl.
I am married to the most amazing man, Keith, and together we enjoy two children, Avery and Grant. When I'm not at a session, you can usually find me cheering and taking action shots at one of my kids' volleyball or basketball games.
To make a long story short, I went from a career as a high school biology teacher and volleyball coach to being a portrait photographer at Lori Gray Photography. I am so grateful to have a business doing what I love, while getting to spend so much time with my people.
The Heart Behind My Work

July 13, 2010, my world came crashing down. My otherwise healthy 4-year old daughter was diagnosed with a Wilm's tumor, a type of
pediatric kidney cancer.
Shortly after her diagnosis, a photographer stepped into our situation, set up a fun little studio, and gifted us the most amazing pictures. Today, my daughter has recovered, is doing really well, and is a healthy and beautiful young lady.
When I got into photography, I knew I wanted to give free sessions to cancer patients/survivors as a way of sharing the same gift that was so generously given to us during such a difficult time.
